It truly is a Culture of Life...and this fight for it began the day Terri was kidnapped to the Hoschwitz on April 18, 2000.

Dear Friends,

The Holy See has been clear about the moral imperative of feeding Terri Schiavo and others like her. I have to admit, it was a true relief to know that our Faith teaches (infallibly) that food and water are NOT medical treatment or extraordinary measures. It is also the Truth that a person cannot "will" himself to be killed. Like the doctrine of transubstantiation, these may be difficult for some and impossible for others to understand or accept.

I believe all Catholics are called to do battle against evil. It is who we are as confirmed Catholics. It is what we teach our children -- to be soldiers for Christ. Now is the time to demonstrate our spiritual "special forces".

Having said all that, I know how busy we are with our families and schooling and other activities. It has been hard to get the word out that prayer vigils are happening. There hasn't been much notice because of the court decisions. Now, however, there is a window of time for prayer, fasting, and action.

Please commit to praying daily for Terri. It is hoped that friends will pray the Chaplet every day for her and her family. It takes about 5-7 minutes.

Another easy thing to do is to write an email to JEB thanking him for the DCF investigation and urging him to take Terri as a ward of the State. He can be reached at JEB@myflorida.com. Also, be alert for coming legislation regarding this issue. There will be a bill introduced in March to save Terri. More on that idea later.

Finally, please mark your calendars for March 12 (Sat.). The attached rally info tells of the national speakers coming here to support Floridians -- and Catholics in particular, in this very important battle for life. Their talks and prayers will be uniquely Catholic and of benefit for all.

Please come and pass this on at your parish, to your youth groups, friends, and relatives.

Tyrannical judges, courts, and laws, must be weeded out and exposed. Rampant injustices mandating the killing of Terri have held her a virtual prisoner on death row in Hospice Woodside. Subjecting this disabled woman to abuse and neglect at the behest of Michael Schiavo is simply dehumanizing and criminal.
