Donate Car to CarAngel and help others in need in various ways
One of my buddies had a car he could not really use anymore. After he told me about it I thought to tell him about CarAngel, the organization that you can make Car Donations. He wanted to know a bit more about them so I told him about some of their projects and even looked online and learned even more than I ever could have hoped to know before doing so. I had heard and spoken of CarAngel before to others but not to my friend. From that time in conversation with my friend I let him know that not only could he Donate Car now and get an instant receipt for his taxes that he could use as a tax write-off (they are a 501[c][3] non-profit religious organization) but that his donation would go towards helping those in need through CarAngel’s various outreach programs. I told him that CarAngel was best known for their sponsorship program in relation to Mercy Ships which are large ocean vessels that give medical care to the most needy in third world countries around the globe in additional participation in this and other sponsorship programs with the very well known World Vision, as well as Iris and Fresh Fire Ministries. Another well known outreach program they have is for preschool children by way of their DVD series featuring the cartoon series “The Adventures of Donkey Ollie” which have won multiple film festival awards as well as being featured on various cable television networks including TBN and Daystar. In certain states they have a program that gives cars to single mothers, college students, and those who are suffering certain hardships. This is done by working with various mechanics and used car dealerships who help fix cars that have been donated by others and including dealerships as well. What is more they are also providing a University Scholarship outreach program at various colleges helping those who get them acquire degrees in accounting, computer sciences, agriculture, and the health sciences. My friend told me right away that where do I Donate My Car. I gave him their number of 800-227-2643 where he could speak to a operator who would help him. I also referred him to the links in this blog post. He said he would tell others. I did my good deed for the day.
