Euna Lee and Laura Ling have been imprisoned in North Korea since March 17th, when they were arrested at a border crossing between North Korea and China. They have been held in solitary confinement since then, and were sentenced this past Sunday to 12 years of "hard labor" for "hostile acts." But these women are not criminals - they are respected journalists who were simply doing their job, bearing witness to the men, women and children who struggle daily to live on a volatile political border.
