Delegates in Caucuses vs. Primaries

Sorry for the delay.  I got distracted by an election reform activist wanting to get me to promote Bob Schulz's election lawsuit crap.  So, I had to explain that Bob was just screwing things up and that just like Shakespeare said 500 years ago, "One may smile and smile and still be a villain."

Nominations are basically controlled by party rules and leaders in caucus states.  Some are more of a beauty contest in which the caucus vote has little to no impact on delegate selection and delegates can vote how they want at the national convention while other states require the delegates to vote in favor of the candidates they were selected to represent at least in the first round.

Primary elections were born due primarily to the belief that caucuses resulted in selection by party insiders rather than the voters.  However, in primary states, delegates are still chosen according to party rules, but they are usually required to vote for the candidate who won the popular vote or in proportion to the popular vote at least in the first round of voting at the convention.

After the first round of votes at the national convention, all bets are off, so it is important to try to get pro-liberty, pro-constitution delegates selected in each state, but if your favorite candidate isn't even close, then he isn't going to win at the convention.

Mark, question: is it true to say that vote counting fraud works in primary states but not in caucus states, where delegate selection is somewhat divorced from the straw poll results?

Ignore the evidence and dance to the tunes of the pied pipers.  That's been working out great so far, hasn't it?

It doesn't matter who you vote for because the votes are counted in secret!!!

Tonight, I'll expose the evidence that 2/3rds of the votes cast for Ron Paul in Florida in 2012 were stolen from him.  In 2008, they only stole about 1/3rd of the votes cast for him because a couple hundred people put down the Kool-Aid and got out to do exit polls with Project Vote Count.

If you want to learn about the seven state constitutions with provisions which specifically prohibit counting votes in secret, the U.S. Supreme Court decisions which prevent votes from being counted in secret, and evidence showing that the Presidential Primary results have been rigged this year, check out the 2012 Election Integrity Update at http://dailycensored.com/2012/02/22/2012-election-integrity-update/ and don’t miss the show.

I’ll be joining Randy Kelton and Deborah Stevens on the Rule of Law radio show from 9:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, Feb. 23. You can listen live, just click on the Listen button and scroll down to select the live feed that you want to use, or you can catch the archives anytime.
