McGovern: Impeach Bush/Cheney, Kucinich's 35 Articles of Impeachment

How many of you know that we are attempting to impeach the President in Congress right now under the brave leadership of Dennis Kucinich, a socialist Democrat?

I may not like his socialist views, but this man spent HOURS, LAST NIGHT, on the floor of the US House reading THIRTY FIVE articles of impeachment!

I wish Ron Paul had been standing right next to him.  If there's a reason for his absence, I really wish I knew it.  It bothers me that he has to play politics within the Republican Party, and I think he's big enough now to shock the establishment, run as a libertarian Independent--exactly as a majority of respondents think he should do in an ongoing poll that closes today, and exactly as I had originally planned to do in my US House race in Florida's District 21 for the third time in 2008.

But I digress...this is HUGE news!

Why is the media silent?  How can people be so asleep!

This silence will be our undoing.  This is why so many of us can't be silent.

I hate this as much as the silent ones.  But I hate more knowing that it's so easy to fix if we all just DID something about it.  Stop staying quiet for fear of being called a conspiracy "theorist".  Let them laugh.  It only reveals their lack of interest in new information.  Trust me, we're ALL going through this.

Many hands make light work.  We are FAR more powerful than so many individuals and armchair critics in our sick society believe we are.

How ironic that these lambs are the ones who tell us that we should "go along to get along".  They are hopelessly enthralled in their "Matrixes".

An Ohio Democratic lawmaker and former presidential candidate has presented articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush to Congress.

Thirty-five articles were presented by Rep. Dennis Kucinich to the House of Representatives late Monday evening, airing live on CSPAN.

Kucinich, a 2004 and 2008 Democratic candidate for the White House, abandoned a prior attempt to begin impeachment proceedings against Bush in January of this year.

In April of 2007, Kucinich presented impeachment articles against Vice President Dick Cheney, but the effort went nowhere. Kucinich exclaimed that “impeachment may well be the only remedy which remains to stop a war of aggression against Iran.”

Before leaving office in January 2007, Rep. Cynthia McKinney–currently a Green Party presidential candidate–introduced articles of impeachment against President Bush as her last act in Congress, but that effort also was fruitless.
