Re: [9-11-NeXuS] conehead..I don't get it either... "Congress ... cannot by legislation alter the Constitution." Eisner v. Macomber

>  I'm lost here.   I don't get it either...
Galen,
I've found it necessary to correct Chuck Baldwin before now:
last time, he tried to say that Americans are obligated to obey the Constitution,
but that is just not true:  the ONLY obligation imposed by the Constitution
upon private Citizens is the "compulsory process" authorized by the Sixth Amendment"
http://www.supremelaw.org/ref/whuscons/whuscons.htm#6th-amend
(cf. recalcitrant witness statute, for enforcement authority)
At least, last time Baldwin admitted his mistake (or so it seems).
THIS TIME:  the Bill of Rights is the supreme Law of the Land;
Congress cannot alter that supreme Law by legislation!
Obama cannot even sign any Bills either:
http://www.supremelaw.org/cc/obama/vieira/Obama.Stand.Up.Now.or.Stand.Down.htm
I'm surprised you even need to ask!!!
Have you been hiding under a rock somewhere?  :)
Or, maybe you're not who you say you are??
Chuck Baldwin wrote: "BILL OF RIGHTS IS NO MORE" ???
http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin682.htm
"While most Americans were celebrating the holidays, President Barack Obama quietly signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), otherwise known as the “Indefinite Detention Act,” into law."

Just read this decision:

http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=252&invol=189

Congress ... cannot by legislation alter the Constitution,
from which alone it derives its power to legislate, and
within whose limitations alone that power can be lawfully exercised.

EISNER v. MACOMBER , 252 U.S. 189 (1920)

Shame on you, Mr. Baldwin.  SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!
FYI:  The punishments reserved for false teachers and teachers of falsehood
are rather severe.  Cf.  Books of Jude and 2 Peter (for starters).

YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, SHOULD ALREADY KNOW BETTER!!
