A Ron Paul Presidency; What's In It For You?

Debbie Lewis,

Columbia, MO, March 31. 2012 -
Fresh off an incredible victory in many local first phase caucuses in Missouri's process and his ignored win in the Virgin Islands, Ron Paul and supporters gear up for the big one in Missouri, and elsewhere.  The media doesn't take him seriously, but his supporters sure do.  In the face of what non-Paul supporters may think is utter defeat from the past several primary/caucus races, Paul supporters are nearly rabid with their fervor for delegates.  Why?  Because they know something others don't seem to grasp; the electoral process and what's at stake if he loses.

While Romney, the obvious du-jour choice among many bent on re-tooling, or better yet, controlling, the GOP presidential race, touts his policies and rides his wave to glory, Santorum seems to be imploding, like many of the would be GOP hopefuls before him.  And, although the media and GOP are forced to deal with Paul because his faithful followers refuse to allow him to be ignored, it is more than obvious that he is NOT the media or GOP favorite.  "Why?" you may ask?

Paul is a different breed of politician.  He is a man bent on restoring this country to it's founding, and constitutional, roots: a limited central government whose main purpose is to protect the freedoms of our country's inhabitants, you and me.  And, he is the only GOP candidate that consistently pulls from and appeals to independent and democratic voters.

"The Founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with."  Ron Paul

Many a presidential hopeful has espoused his "constitutional expertise," but as we have seen time and again, these men use their knowledge of our constitution to subvert, or outright take, our liberties.  In our seemingly "free society," however, we are anything but free.  Paul's main goal is to get the central (federal) government out of our lives and return power to the people.

Using clips from different venues, the new documentary, The Ron Paul Uprising, allows the viewer to look at Paul's message and the reasons why a Paul presidency is right for our country.  In one such clip, Paul states that nearly 90% of what congress does is not constitutional.  In another, while explaining why he is called "Dr. No," he candidly says he looks to the Constitution, and if his authority to act is not there, he doesn't do it.  Paul is truly THE constitutional leader for our times.

Another issue on which some seem to disagree with Paul is what the media calls his "isolationist" views.  How quickly we forget our own countries humble beginnings.  Paul is a non-interventionist, as were our Founding Fathers.  Comments from George Washington's Farewell Address seem so clear, "Observe good faith and justice towards all Nations; cultivate peace and harmony with all...The Nation, which indulges towards another an habitual hatred, or an habitual fondness, is in some degree a it's animosity or to it's affection...It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world..."

Paul, channeling our Founding Fathers at every turn, understands this, as he states in another clip from The Ron Paul Uprising, "Why are we in Korea?  We've been there since I've been in High School.  Why are we in Japan?  We've been there since World War II.  Why are we in Germany, subsidizing their welfare state by paying for their defense by staying in Germany?  And why are we in five wars in the Middle East?"

On the economy, Paul understands that government does not create jobs; business owners do, and unnecessary government regulations are strangling job growth.    He also understands the value of money and that it must be protected.  Paul emphasizes individual accountability and the responsibility of the government to stay out of the affairs of the people.

As for the freedom of our inhabitants, only Paul wants to return freedom to We-the-People.  Demonstrating his understanding of the principles of freedom, in another clip from The Ron Paul Uprising, Paul says, "I think when you defend freedom, you defend freedom of choice, and you can't be picking and choosing how people use those freedoms."

Romney, who, as governor, supported mandated healthcare in his own state, the model from which legislators devised our national healthcare plan, and says he would have singed the NDAA, with its possibility of indefinite detention, claims to be the best GOP candidate.  On the other hand, so does Santorum, who claims to be the more conservative of those running; yet whose voting record in congress shows he is not nearly the conservative he claims to be.

On protecting our personal liberty and legislation regarding the Constitution, there is only one person running whose voting record and beliefs have been consistent the entire time he has been in office, some 24 years.  Only one who demands that wars to which we send our brave troops into harm's way be declared by Congress, as demanded by our Constitution.  Only one who repeatedly looks for his authority to act in all situations based on our Founding Father's mandates in the founding documents of this great nation...Ron Paul!

So, what's in a Ron Paul presidency for you?  A return to the glorious roots of a nation founded with the freedom of its population in mind.  A president who doesn't just spouting ideals to get elected, but actually has a track record of voting constitutionally on every bill, including balancing our nations monstrous budget.  A track record can be verified.  A president who truly comprehends the value of sound monetary policy and is willing to act on it.  A person who knows that, even though we may not think alike, our Constitution protects our right to think differently.  A man who understands true freedom and is willing to fight for it.

Don't be fooled; the GOP race is far from over!  If this thing goes to a brokered national convention, all delegates will be up for grabs.  Be sure you are not letting a political party or the media drive your decision.  It's time we had an honest, and earnest, person in the White House.  Only one man has been consistent throughout his political career...Ron Paul!

FYI - The secret vote counts were wrong in Florida again.  See below.
By the way, the Presidential Primary was also gamed with 2/3rds of the votes cast for Ron Paul being stolen, but thank goodness that no one in the C4L or his campaign team wanted to do anything to stop election theft or expose it.  After all, if they had, Ron Paul might have actually gotten elected, and they would have been in trouble with their real masters.  For more about that, check out this show with me, Jim Condit and John Russell.
Fortunately, there is some hope as 3 different groups are recruiting candidates in Florida to challenge incumbents in Congress and in Florida's legislature.  One is GOOOH and one is Liberty Takeover 2012, but the one with the most candidates is one that almost no one has heard about.  Check the first two out, and then, if you want to know more about the other one, contact me.
Hopefully, more people will join these challengers and even more people will get out and help detect and deter election fraud in the primary and general elections.  If not, the bad guys will steal another one.  After all, they get away with it every time that no one does anything about it.  If you want to help deter election theft, let me know.
Most of all, please remember, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Palm Beach Elections Overturned After Hand-Count
Reveals Op-Scans Mistallied Results

The computers got it wrong. The losing candidates were declared and certified as the "winners". But they didn't actually receive more votes than their opponents. This time, we happened to find out.

As long-time readers of The BRAD BLOG know, there's a reason we routinely slam election officials and media for announcing wholly-unverified computer-reported results of elections before any of the ballots are actually examined by human beings.

So called, post-election "random audits" of a tiny number of paper ballots --- where paper ballots exist, where officials even bother to do that much --- are almost always useless, easily gamed, and, at any rate, almost always poorly carried out. Post-election spot-checks are no substitute for actually, ya know, counting actual ballots.

Nonetheless, election officials and media simply presume that optically-scanned ballots have been correctly tallied on Election Night because, after all, "computers are more reliable than human beings", as they like to say, and any result, apparently, is far more important than an accurate result reflecting the actual will of the voters.

The situation is made still worse in states like Florida where horrible election laws actually prohibit human beings from examining paper ballots to assure they've been tallied accurately after they've already been processed by a computer system. And it's all made even worse than that in Florida as the state has turned election results verification on its head by requiring results be certified just six days after the election, long before results can actually be canvassed by officials for any type of accuracy.

With all of that in mind, and all of the warnings The BRAD BLOG has long offered about optical-scan tallying systems, guess what's just happened in Palm Beach County, Florida --- one of the absolute most disastrous counties for elections in the entire country?...

FULL STORY: Times Op-Ed Warns Unaccountable Super-PACS Likely to Be Used for Voter Suppression in 2012

PLUS: New calls to 'Tax the Super-PACs' 99%...

In today's New York Times, Jim Arkedis and Lindsay Mark Lewis of the Progressive Policy Institute (Lewis also previously worked for the DNC), warn that Super-PACS aren't just perverting the electoral system through millions in deceptive ads for or against the candidates they are secretly funded to support, but they may also pose an even more direct, more insidious threat to our democracy.

After acknowledging that even President Obama is now embracing the same shadowy-funded PACs he once claimed to eschew, as he refuses to "unilaterally disarm", there is a different between inclinations of left and right, in that one side generally works to increase voter turnout, while the other hopes to suppress it. The lack of accountability and the supposed "firewall" of separation between Super PACs and candidates creates a situation rife for the worst kind of dirty tricks and voter suppression in an atmosphere which is even more difficult to regulate than in the past (when such dirty tricks were already pretty easy to pull off without paying a price --- or, at least, without a price that could be paid before it was far too late).

Their warning is both compelling and ominous, particularly as we don't need to look very far into the recent past --- even here at The BRAD BLOG --- in order to find evidence in support of it...

Re: OBJECTION Re: the candidate that msm blacks out. why? what are they afraid of?

There are a LOT better ways to "get your point out there"
than to forward heavy mixtures of occasional truth and many lies
to people who don't know any better.
Those who already know about Booth might begin to wonder about you too!
On top of that, his grammar is often atrocious and, as such,
a very bad example of journalism in general.
There is a thing called "proper English":  I learned it in High School.
A good journalist should also attempt to confirm separate facts
from at least 2 different sources.
Booth is fond of citing some as yet unnamed "high officials in the Kremlin"
or other nonsense like that.
There are lots of journalists who deserve your readership, and sponsorship,
a WHOLE LOT more than David Booth.
P.S.  I don't care to debate this any further with you.

for sure no one has knowledge of the future but, can one take known variables from the past.........put two and two together and say the probability for Pauls assassination is very high............I mean look who he is going up against............these people HAVE assasinated all their opponents and put in power their lackeys.........
oBam putting a "black out on P" is a fact. msm is in the pockets of the rothCh and Obam is their puppet.............from that stand point the article does not seem farfetched....regardless who is stiring this hornets nest.  booth is supposed to be c i a ....who cares. at the end of the day they are all anti-american slugs............i got my point out there...............which was to get P out there ...bring him out of the darkness........the man has wisdom a nd is a true patriot..............stay well.   G
