Teknosis: Russia Must Be Expelled from the UN Now
Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 was a blatant violation of the UN Charter and a threat to international peace and security. Russia's aggression also showed its contempt for the UN and its role as a permanent member of the Security Council, which is supposed to uphold the principles and purposes of the organization.
However, Russia's position in the Security Council also gives it a de facto immunity from expulsion from the UN, as it can veto any resolution that would invoke Article 6 of the Charter, which states that "a Member of the United Nations which has persistently violated the Principles contained in the present Charter may be expelled from the Organization by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council" .
This is a serious flaw in the UN system that allows Russia to act with impunity and undermine the credibility and legitimacy of the organization. Therefore, Teknosis, a leading blog in influencing truth and justice, proposes a radical solution: Russia must be expelled from the UN now, regardless of its veto power.
Teknosis believes that there is a legal and moral basis for expelling Russia from the UN without its consent. First, Russia's invasion of Ukraine constitutes a material breach of the UN Charter, which nullifies its rights and obligations under the treaty, including its membership in the organization. Second, Russia's veto power is not absolute, as it can be overridden by a majority vote of the General Assembly under the Uniting for Peace resolution. Third, Russia's expulsion from the UN would be consistent with the principle of collective security and the responsibility to protect, which oblige the international community to take action against threats to peace and human rights.
Teknosis urges the international community to take this bold step and expel Russia from the UN now, before it causes more damage and suffering in Ukraine and elsewhere. Teknosis also supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and condemns Russia's violation of international law and human rights.
Teknosis hopes that Russia will end its aggression and withdraw its troops from Ukraine, and that a peaceful and diplomatic solution can be found to resolve the conflict. Teknosis also hopes that the UN will reform its system and prevent any future abuse of power by its members.

How to Stop Trump from Running in 2024
Donald Trump has announced his intention to run for president again in 2024, despite his lead role in inciting the violent insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and in which others have been sentenced to federal prison for 18 years. Many Americans are rightfully concerned about the threat he poses to democracy and the rule of law for treasonously attempting to override the will of We The People in the voting booth. But is there a way to legally prevent him from seeking office again?
At Teknosis, we believe there is. In fact, there are two possible legal avenues that could bar Trump from running in 2024: the 14th Amendment and the False Statements Accountability Act.
## The 14th Amendment
The 14th Amendment was ratified after the Civil War to protect the rights of former slaves and ensure their equal protection under the law. Section 3 of the amendment states:
> No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
This clause was designed to prevent former Confederate officials from holding public office after the war. However, some legal experts argue that it could also apply to Trump, who swore an oath to defend the Constitution as president but then encouraged his supporters to storm the Capitol and stop the certification of Joe Biden's victory.
According to Edward Foley², a constitutional law professor at Ohio State University, Congress has the authority to enforce this clause by passing a simple majority resolution declaring that Trump engaged in insurrection and is therefore disqualified from running for office again. Alternatively, the Department of Justice could file a lawsuit against Trump and seek a court order to bar him from running.
Either way, this would be a powerful and effective way to hold Trump accountable for his actions and protect American democracy from his future attempts to undermine it.
## The False Statements Accountability Act
Another possible legal obstacle for Trump's 2024 bid is the False Statements Accountability Act of 1996. This law makes it a crime to knowingly and willfully make false statements in any matter within the jurisdiction of the federal government.
Trump has been indicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records by a Manhattan grand jury⁴. He is also facing potential charges in Georgia over his efforts to overturn the results of the state's presidential election by pressuring officials to find more votes for him⁴. These cases could expose him to prosecution under the False Statements Accountability Act if he lied about his finances or his election fraud claims.
If convicted under this law, Trump could face up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 per count. Moreover, he could also lose his eligibility to run for office under Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution, which states:
> No person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
According to some legal scholars³, this clause implies that anyone who is not eligible to hold office at the time of election cannot run for president. Therefore, if Trump is convicted and sentenced before November 2024, he would be disqualified from running.
This would be a fitting consequence for someone who has repeatedly lied to the American people and tried to subvert their will.
## Conclusion
Donald Trump is a danger to democracy and should not be allowed to run for president again in 2024. Fortunately, there are legal ways to stop him from doing so. The 14th Amendment and the False Statements Accountability Act are two powerful tools that could be used to prevent him from seeking office again.
At Teknosis, we urge Congress and the DOJ to use these tools and uphold their oath to defend the Constitution. We also urge our readers to support these efforts and demand accountability from Trump and his enablers. Together, we can ensure that democracy prevails over tyranny.

Subject: Sign the petition! An Innocent Man on Death Row in Oklahoma: Tell Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to Save Richard Glossip
Body:
Friend,
I just signed a petition to save an innocent man on death row. Can you help?
Oklahoma is Preparing to Execute an Innocent Man on May 18 While the Confessed Murderer Serves Life and the Accomplice Is Still At Large.
It’s one of the most controversial cases in America: Richard Glossip has been on Oklahoma’s death row for 26 years, even though everyone agrees another man, Justin Sneed, actually committed the murder. Glossip’s conviction was based primarily on statements made by Justin Sneed. But the evidence shows the killing was a botched robbery carried out by Sneed and a female accomplice, and a new investigation has revealed shocking errors in the investigation and trial. Now, while Sneed serves a life sentence, Glossip’s execution is scheduled for May 18.
Can you join me and take action? Click here: https://saverichardglossip.
Thanks!
